How we rank & monetize.
Try That Tool is designed to help people choose AI tools based on fit, trade-offs and practical use — not on who pays the most.
How recommendations work
Discovery and stack recommendations use the current catalog's categories, capabilities, use cases, pricing signals, audience fit, ratings and workflow-stage fit. They are decision aids, not guarantees of results.
- Recommendations are not sold placements.
- Sponsored relationships, when introduced, will be clearly labeled.
- Catalog scores are editorial signals, not community review averages.
- Pricing and features can change; verify important details with the vendor before buying.
Affiliate disclosure
Try That Tool may earn a commission when a visitor clicks an affiliate link and purchases a product or service. Affiliate relationships do not determine whether a tool is recommended or its position in discovery results.
When an affiliate relationship exists, the outbound action will be labeled Visit partner and use an appropriate sponsored/nofollow relationship. Tools without an affiliate relationship link directly to the vendor.
Reviews & ratings
Community reviews are submitted by visitors and moderated before approval. We do not publish fake reviews or paid ratings. Editorial scores are kept separate from community ratings.
What we are improving before scale
We are progressively verifying tool pricing, links, features and editorial notes. A tool marked as a starter listing has not yet received the same editorial depth as a published review.
