COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Make AI more useful for everyone.

The TryThatTool Community is a place to exchange practical experiences with AI tools. Help people understand what works, where it falls short, and what to try next.

1. Be specific and useful

Explain the task you are trying to complete, what you have tried, relevant constraints and what a helpful answer would look like. When sharing results, distinguish your own experience from assumptions.

2. Be honest about results

Share limitations and failures as well as successes. Do not invent test results, impersonate other people, or present sponsored or affiliate relationships as independent recommendations.

3. No spam or undisclosed promotion

Do not post repetitive promotions, referral links without clear disclosure, fake reviews, scraped content, or links intended mainly to drive traffic. A relevant tool link is fine when it helps answer the question.

4. Respect privacy and safety

Never share passwords, access tokens, confidential customer data, private conversations, or personal information about someone else without permission. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share material you post.

5. Disagree respectfully

Critique ideas and evidence, not people. Harassment, hate, threats, explicit abuse, and attempts to disrupt the community are not acceptable.

6. Moderation

New topics and replies may be reviewed before appearing publicly. Use the report option for spam, unsafe content, harassment or misleading claims. TryThatTool may hide or remove content that breaks these guidelines.

7. No guarantee of professional advice

Community responses reflect individual experiences and may be incomplete or wrong. Verify important information independently, especially for legal, financial, medical, security or business-critical decisions.
